- January 11, 2022; 8:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m.: California Practitioners’ Guide for Educating English Learners with Disabilities. An Overview of Section 2: Pre-Referral and Referral, Assessment, and Individualized Education Program Processes.
- January 13, 2022; 1–3 p.m.: Improving Outcomes for English Learners with Disabilities. Session 3- Assessment of English Learners for Possible Identification as a Student with a Disability.
- January 20, 2022; 3:45–4:30 p.m.: Improving Outcomes for English Learners with Disabilities. Session 1- How the Multi-Tiered System of Supports framework provides support to English learners prior to and after identification for special education services.
- January 27, 2022; 8:30 a.m.– 3 p.m.: Writing Linguistically Appropriate Goals and Objectives for English Learners with Disabilities. Review English Language Development (ELD) Standards and California Common Core State Standards/Review Alternate English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC) Blueprint and ELD core content connectors/Use ELPAC and Alternate ELPAC data to inform instruction and goal development/Review student scenarios; from baseline skills to goal development/Practitioners will practice writing linguistically appropriate goals and objectives for students with mild/moderate disabilities and extensive support needs.
